A little about myself...

My name is Rajesh or simply Raj (rhymes with Taj as in Taj Mahal!).

I was a senior at Clark University when I started the Shangri La Home Page. I graduated with majors in Computer Science and Economics in May 1995. I attended the London School of Economics (LSE) in my junior year, not to mention the loads of fun I had over the year within the lax British system (until the exams hit!). I am now working at BBN Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts - the people that brought you the ARPANET and the TCP/IP technologies!

About my background, I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. There are a lot of pictures and info on Kathmandu if you go to Homeward Bound Links and try out some Visitors' Perspectives sites.

I enjoy photography, travelling and "surfing" (of course). Friends, penpals, netpals anyone? You are most welcome. You can send me e-mails if you click on my name below, or if you want to get more traditional, you can find my mailing address by doing finger -l rajs@aleph0.clarku.edu. For those who want to send me secure e-mail, here's my PGP Public Key.

Finally, a lot of people have asked me and I am a bit embarrassed to say this, I am not a mountaineer, only an admirer. I haven't climbed any mountains yet, although I have a few "hills".

Please also check out the Credits Page that acknowledges people that helped bring about Shangri La Home Page.
